Nicole a Senior Occupational Therapist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital

Outpatient Neurological OT in the Foxborough, MA location

Nicole has 14 years of experience practicing in the greater Boston area.  She specializes in the assessment and treatment of clients with neurological and complex medical conditions. 

Nicole is the primary occupational therapist for Brigham and Women’s Hospital Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) Program and has extensive experience treating adults with FND in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

She has co-authored two academic publications for the American Journal of Occupational Therapy (AJOT) in 2021 and has contributed to numerous other OT publications and in-person/virtual presentations on OT and FND, multiple sclerosis, polytrauma, critical care and neurological impairments resulting from severe COVID-19 infection.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Gain an understanding of and be able to describe functional neurological disorders (FND) and associated impairments.
  2. Gain a practice-ready toolbox of OTP treatment ideas for clients with FND
  3. Understand assessment and treatment of sensory modulation impairments in clients with FND
