Topic: Working with Individuals with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Speaker: Jade LaRochelle, OT, OTD, OTR is an occupational therapist at Newton-Wellesley Hospital on the inpatient psychiatry unit. Jade enjoys working with individuals with various mental health conditions and has a particular interest in working with individuals with OCD.

Learning Objectives:

1.     to review and increase understanding of the diagnosis of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

2.     to review and gain a better understanding of the cognitive model of OCD

3.     to identify and discuss helpful strategies when dealing with individuals with OCD

4.     to explore and share resources for individuals with OCD
